Carinthian Export Award 2022

To put it in the words of the organisers WKO and Raiffeisen Landesbank Kärnten: The Export Prize is an award for companies that do first-class work for economic stability in Carinthia and recognises above-average commitment of Carinthian companies on foreign markets.

Nomination for the Export Award in the Small Business category

We can count ourselves among the proud nominees in the small business category. Like almost all companies, we faced massive challenges during the pandemic years - from restrictive measures (stricter entry and exit conditions) to staff absences and raw material shortages. All the more reason for us to be pleased about the recognition of our export success.

The nomination also shows us that we are on the right track with our product - the Holc Naturpool. The export development also reflects it: customers in our main export countries increasingly value sustainably produced products. They are conscious consumers who want to live true sustainability.

The Holc Natural Pool Success Story

The foundation for the success story of the Holc natural pool was laid back in 2006, when Dipl.-HTL-Ing. Herbert Laßnig was swimming in the classic swimming pool in the garden with his children. Driven by his passion for wood, he wanted to develop a sustainable alternative to pools made of plastic. After intensive research and several prototypes, the Holc natural pool was patented in 2007. From the very beginning, the idea of sustainability was the guiding principle. Only domestic wood from certified forestry is used for the Holc natural pool. The water is biologically treated using a gravel filter system. The body is guaranteed for life as long as it is permanently under water. The resource water is conserved, as no chemicals are used and no water changes are necessary.
