WHEN NATURE SETS THE PACE
With the greatest respect for life and environment
Water is one of the must important resources on our planet. It is a living medium worth protecting. It is constantly on the move, absorbing vibration, and in many respects has a pleasant effect on us humans. Internally, as drinking water and most important foodstuff. Externally, as refreshing water to bathe in.
In conventional pools the water is effectively treated with salt and chemicals. Regardless of the fact , whether it is a winter agent, or chemicals such as chlorine, shocking agent, floccculant, algicide or sodium chloride (salt). That is not the case in our Holc natural pools. The natural vitality of the water remains because of our innovative system using the organic filtering unit. The water is clean and crystal clear. A change of water is unnecessary, meaning that you save an enormous ammount on water, annually.
We love our local forests which mean more to us than just being a supplier of buiding material. They are a valuable habitat, the beauty of which needs to be kept. This is why we make sure that the coniferous wood we use to make our Holc natural pools from is guaranteed from certified sustainable forestry. This carefully balanced giving and taking will secure the life of our forests for the next generations.
Since 2013, we are authorised to carry the PEFC certificate (The Programme for the Endorsement of Forest Certification). This certificate approves and certifies that we produce our wooden pools with the utmost sustainable criteria and throughout the whole chain of manufacture from tree to completely installed Holc natural pool. Wood is the ideal material for a modern natural pool and is neutral to the climate. The wood we use originates exclusively from sustainably farmed forests. It substitutes alternative materials which cause large amounts of CO2. A Holc natural pool with the size of 7 x 3 m stores about the same ammount of CO2 as five trees. Some CO2 is emmited during production, transport and installation. But this can be more than compensated by the natural raw material, being wood. Graphic: Quantity of stored CO2 in a Holc natural pool.
Size: 7 x 3 m = 10 m³
1 tree = 2 m³ wood = 2 tons of stored CO2
binds approx. 10 tonnes of environmentally harmful CO2
production and assembly generate approx. 4 tonnes of CO2
only 2 out of 5 trees are consumed
1. Origin
Nature supplies us with the regrowing construction material called wood. Which is what we make our pools from. The Holc natural pool is carefully and gently manufactured from certified local coniferous wood, installed and put into operation in a very sophisticated system.
2. Useage
The Holc natural pool is the pure pleasure of life for decades to come. It can be used all year round. Swimming during the summer in crystal clear, biologically treated water. And to use as a skating rink in winter. Many pleasurable moments are guaranteed.
3. Reusability
The location that was optimally chosen when the pool was built does not always remain the best location for the rest of the pool's life. The Holc natural pool can then be moved around the property quite easily. If you move, you can take it with you and continue to enjoy the pool.
4. Disposal
Every product has an expiry date. Should the Holc natural pool eventually meet its end, then it can be simply dismantled, shredded and composted. Alternatively, it could be used as firewood. That shows quite clearly that: Whoever uses wood as a construction material makes an active contribution to protecting the environment.
